First of all, I'm glad I've found this forum, even it's still fresh. I see that mr. Borota is answering to all the questions I've seen so far and gives me strength to continue to go deeper with my research.

My name's Alexander, 24yo, born in Serbia and raised in Greece till my 19th birthday.

My girlfriend and I would like to move away from Serbia, for obvious reasons.

Girlfriend holds high school Physiotherapy degree & Agroecology and Environmental Protection college degree.
I'm just a Physiotherapist.

We were wondering, how easy can we get permanent documentation to live & work in CA?

Both of us love animals, so we'd like to try our luck on a farm, since she has more experience cause of her college.

Somewhere on the web, 2-3 hours ago I found that the job of a farmer is well paid. $12-$14 per hour, which seems pretty awesome ( for the standards we've got here ).

I'm out of questions right now, haven't slept all night, been looking for some answers from someone who's willing to answer to my questions and I'm tired.

Looking forward for a reply!

Hvala Vam na vremenu,

pozdrav,

Aleksandar V

Thank you for your questions,

generally speaking the best way to come to Canada to live is through employment in Canada - you have to find work in Canada (preferably in the skilled occupation) and after that look for options of applying for permanent resident status in Canada.

I have explained the process of obtaining work permits in Canada in this video: http://www.youtube.com/v/ZXFNv6UhzbI

For job search I recommend Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and northern parts of BC. Some of the most frequently used web sites for job search are the Job Bank, WorkBc (for BC) and http://www.saskjobs.ca/ for Saskatchewan.

I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and I provide services in the area of Canadian immigration however I do not look for work for my clients - Canadian employment agencies specialize in providing those services.

I can, however assist your employer with their application for your LMO - most employers either don't have time to apply for LMO or they think the process is way too complicated to bother, either way you can send them my electronic business card and tell them that I can help them with their LMO application for you.

When you secure employment I will be happy to help you with your application for work permit and after that with your application for permanent resident status in Canada.

If you want to discuss your plans with me or ask some specific questions over GoogleTalk or Skype you may wish to book paid on-line consultations, one conversation for up to one hour cost $150, payment can be made through PayPal.

If you have any other questions or you need my professional services please do not hesitate to contact me,

best regards,

Milorad

Pozdrav!

Srdacan pozdrav,
Milorad
